Brenda White (Workshop Speaker)
Who am I? I’m a Jesus follower who came to faith as an adult. It was a journey that began with a whitewater river rafting trip and has placed me at River Community Church in Wichita, KS. I joined the River family 24 years ago and have served as women’s pastor (shepherd) for 14 years. Life in community has been integral to my walk with Christ – both through ‘intentional’ discipleship and also watching others live out their faith, just as I did on that rafting trip before I knew Jesus. The aroma of Christ is powerful and appealing!
Rodney Bartlett (Workshop Speaker)
Rodney is the Worship and Outreach Pastor at River Community Church. Before joining the staff at River, he served on staff at Youth Horizons, a ministry to at-risk Youth in Wichita, and he served for seven years at a church plant in Vancouver, British Columbia.
